The 1976 debut album by Stomu Yamash’ta’s Go is a fusion of progressive rock, jazz, and electronic elements, bringing together an eclectic lineup of musicians, including Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve, Al Di Meola, and Klaus Schulze. The album has an expansive, cinematic sound, blending atmospheric synthesizers with intricate percussion and soaring guitar work. Very smooth, but also someone adventurous playing. Edit: Honestly, this album is awesome. Can be found on the cheap. Doooo it!
1976 US pressing on Island Records. Power went out at my place today, so after about an hour in the dark I decided to head to a local record shop to kill some time and found this. Actually,, three different copies but this one looked best. Sounds even better!
