Sugarloaf is largely known for “Green-Eyed Lady”, which kicks off there self titled debut album and it is rightly considered a classic and it fucking jams. What most people don’t know is that the rest of this album also smokes. Throughout the record, the band explores extended instrumental passages, tight grooves, and melodic experimentation, highlighting their playing badassery. I sort of love the shit out of this record.
1970 pressing on Liberty and possibly in the first 50 records I’ve ever purchased. Have had this copy since high school, at least.
