Trapeze (1970)

Trapeze’s self-titled debut album presents a distinctive fusion of psychedelic rock, progressive elements, and soulful touches, reflecting the band’s diverse musical influences. Featuring the original five-piece lineup, including future Deep Purple bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes, the album explores a variety of styles, from atmospheric, harmony-driven tracks to more intricate compositions with shifting tempos and layered instrumentation. There is a lot to love here! Don’t hesitate to pick this up if you ever come across it in the wild.

1970 US pressing on Threshold. I literally landed this today at a local shop and couldn’t believe my luck. So clean and such a great album!
