Demolition is in fact Vektor’s second demo recording and is largely made up songs from their eventual first and second proper albums as well as as the nearly 13 minute epic “Moonbase”, a never properly released track which is simply bananas. While demos can generally be rough, this has been very nicely produced, yet retains that direct raw sound that can give demos a bit more authenticity than a proper album at times. This demo also features an earlier lineup of the band, with frontman/guitarist David DiSanto and guitarist Erik Nelson in place alongside bassist Mike Tozzi and drummer Adam Anderson.
2024 US limited edition pressing from Metallic Blue Records and includes a demo version of “Accelerating Universe” from the band’s 2007 Hunger For Violence two-song demo. Really nice, all up!
