Driven by jagged guitar riffs, distorted vocals, and tape manipulation, Half Machine Lip Moves creates a fractured sonic landscape that feels both dystopian and psychedelic. Chrome somehow manages to blend elements of punk, industrial noise, sci-fi, and psychedelia, seamlessly and simultaneously. As otherworldly as it gets, in a Liquid Sky kind of way.
