Red Exposure finds Chrome pushing deeper into their warped fusion of post-punk, industrial noise, and sci-fi experimentation. The album trades some of the raw aggression of earlier work for a colder, more synthetic atmosphere and it works exceptionally well. For a band with just about zero percent commercial appeal, this album jams, as seen through a funhouse mirror.
2014 US reissue from Cleopatra and it sounds great.
