The original Greasy Truckers Party album was released in 1972 as a live compilation capturing performances from a benefit concert at London’s Roundhouse on February 13, 1972. The event, and subsequent album, featured Hawkwind alongside Man, Brinsley Schwarz, and Magic Michael and others. The RSD release presents ‘s full set (newly mixed) from that evening and while is a raw(ish) recording, band, delivers a blistering set of early cuts. As a bonus, side D includes the two cuts “Master Of The Universe” and “Born To Go” in their original 1972 mix. Solid archival release.
