Heavy Metal Thunder appears to be a label sampler for the Carrere metal label. Like the Neat Records Lead Weight sampler, this is also a NWOBHM collection; but way more commercial leaning than what Neat was serving up. Of course, the Saxon tracks are kickin’, but the just about everything else here is some painful radio friendly drivel… not the worst, but also kind of meh.
