The Conjuration By The Fire is the debut album by Finnish progressive rock band Orne, featuring members from diverse musical backgrounds within the Finnish scene, most notably Reverend Bizarre (for me, anyway). The album draws inspiration from the early 1970s progressive and folk rock era, blending vintage organ sounds, mellotron, and intricate guitar work to create a mystical and engaging listening experience. The compositions are deliberately paced and possess an intricate depth, allowing each track to unfold gradually and immerse yo bad self.
2005 Italian pressing from Black Widow Records landed this used at the most epic Smash Records in Washington DC a few years back and it’s a beautiful thing.
