More Golden Greats is simply a collection of cover tunes by the Ventures, highlighting their cool west coast surf vibes renditions of already known hits, I bought this way back in high school for like $2 or something, no knowing much about it at the time and it remains a good time listen every time I give it a play. It’s also the only Ventures album I own, and it has me thinking I should remedy that problem one of these days.
