Exercises is the second studio album by Scottish rock band Nazareth and presents a surprising departure from the heavier rock sound they would later be known for. The album leans more into acoustic arrangements, folk influences, and orchestration, revealing a more subdued and introspective side of the band’s vibe. While not one of the more popular albums among Nazareth’s discography, it’s a nice diversion from the band’s earlier years.
1972 US white label promo copy from Warner Bros. Records. Picked this up at Holy Cow Records in Seattle a little while back and it jams.
