Following his split with Black Sabbath, Ozzy seemed to be facing his own mortality until he was more or less rescued by the daughter of Sabbath’s manager Don Arden, Sharon. Together they assembled a pretty awesome band called Blizzard Of Ozz featuring former Rainbow bassist/lyricist Bob Daisley, drummer Lee Kerslake of Uriah Heep, and American guitarist Randy Rhoads of LA metal act Quiet Riot. The album absolutely destroys. While I might prefer Sabbath’s Heaven And Hell, this LP cannot be denied.
1991 US pressing on Jet Records. I’ve had a copy of this since the 1980 but found this one at a garage sale out in the boonies of Washington State for $5 with some other LPs and it’s practically brand new.
