Plus - The Seven Deadly Sins (1969)

The Seven Deadly Sins by the British band Plus, is a concept album that delves into the thematic representation of the titular sins through a fusion of musical styles. The album features Tony Newman on guitar, Mike Newman on drums, and Max Simms on bass, with additional contributions from vocalists and a choir. Each track embodies a different sin, employing a range of genres from psychedelic rock and proto-metal to classical and pop influences. Despite a unique approach, the album didn’t do well and the band (or project?) faded into obscurity.

2015 Portuguese reissue from Sagara and it seems pretty great. I bought this album at Amoeba Music San Francisco a few days ago on a whim as it was like $10 and looked cool. Absolutely worth the pickup.
