Nymphs & Weavers highlights a bit of a shift following the band’s split with guitarist/vocalist Andrei Amartinesei, now expanded to a five piece adding guitarist Henry Pyykkö and vocalist Fredrik Andersson (both of whom will last just one album). The record has less of a 70s vibe, but the heavy rock aspects remain intact… it’s all solid enough that I holds up as an engaging listen.
2008 Italian pressing on Bloodrock Records/Black Widow Records. I found my copies of these first three Burning Saviours used, all in one day across two records shops in Washington DC a few years back. That was a good day.
