Nucleus is a tight, no-frills heavy metal album from Dawnbringer. The riffs are sharp and rooted in NWOBHM traditions, but the mood is darker and more introspective than your typical throwback. There’s a lean, almost punk-like discipline to the songwriting—sparse, no gloss, just streamlined power. I recently blind-purchased this and am not familiar this any of Dawnbringer’s material, but this album kind of smokes.
2013 US reissue from a label called Professor Black. Sounds great and stoked that I randomly stumbled across this LP!
