Black Age Blues marks Goatsnake’s return following a 15-year hiatus, delivering a potent mix of doom metal and deep bluesy grooves. Guitarist Greg Anderson lays down massive riffs, to accompany vocalist Pete Stahl’s soulful delivery and brings it all home. While not a radical departure from their earlier work, Black Age Blues is a solid reminder of the potency these fuckers were packing. Love this record.
