First Daze Here Too, is a second excavation of early Pentagram recordings, digging deeper into their murky 70s archives. Compared to the first First Daze Here collection, this one leans even more into the hard rock and proto-metal roots—there’s less Sabbath thunder and more of a Bad Company-meets-Blue Cheer swagger. The mix is raw, the guitars snarling, and the sense of lost time hangs thick over the whole affair. Probably not as essential as the 2002 First Days Here collection, but if you are more than casually into Pentagram or proto-metal in general, do yourself a favor and check it out.
2016 European reissue on Relapse Records and it’s fantastic.
