Show ’Em How is essentially Bobby Liebling fronting a lineup of the doom-influenced jam band Internal Void, re-recording songs he wrote back in the ’70s that never got proper studio treatment. The production is stripped down and fuzzy, with Victor Griffin’s classic Sabbath-style riffing replaced by Kelly Carmichael’s looser, bluesier touch. Liebling sounds worn but shows he can still bring it for most of the album. It’s probably Pentagram’s weakest album, but still brings some good shit to the table.
2021 Finnish reissue from Svart Records and it’s real nice. Special cover are for this pressing and comes in a lovely silver foil print which it looks great (though hard to photograph). Added images of the original 2004’cover plus the most recent rendition of that below too.
