Early Rituals, as the title might suggest, is a collection of the band’s demo recordings between 1981-1986 packaged together in a very nice 2xLP offering. There are three complete demo releases here; Guardian Demo (1981), Into The Fire Demo (1982), and The Dirt Demo (1986). These first two pre-date the band’s debut, while the third features the Michael Jackson fronted incarnation of the band. While a bit raw, the demos sound great and offer a fantastic glimpse into the early sound of the band during the height of the NWOBHM movement.
