4 Times Sound Razing is the sole release from German power trio Silberbart and it’s a chaotic, raw, and often unhinged slab of proto-metal freakout. Like a band tearing through heavy psych, free-form noise, and early doom while barely hanging on to structure—sometimes ditching it entirely. The production is muddy and primal, which only adds to its underground charm. Not a record I play everyday, but when I’m in the mood for this type of stuff, Silberbart is one of my first pulls.
