In The Past is a raw, hypnotic gem from the Zamrock movement—a fusion of fuzz-drenched garage rock, African rhythms, and psychedelia. Recorded during a turbulent political time, the album is both rebellious and deeply infectious, driven by jagged guitar tones, lo-fi textures, and a youthful, urgent energy. For me, Witch has a slight Rolling Stones vibe crossed with an almost proto-punk, garage type energy. These fellas were fantastic.
