Introduction is the debut album by Zambian band WITCH (We Intend To Cause Havoc), and is widely regarded as the first commercially released Zamrock album. Recorded during the early days of Zambia’s independence, the album blends garage rock, psychedelic influences, and African rhythms into a raw, energetic sound. Initially self-released and sold at local gigs, Introduction has become a landmark release in Zambian music history and remains in print to this day. It’s also an awesome album for pretty much any kind of day.
