Moshkinstein is Acid Reign’s debut EP and a cheeky, hyperactive blast of UK thrash that wears its punk and crossover influences on its shredded sleeves. Clocking in just under 25 minutes, it’s a scrappy, caffeinated barrage of galloping riffs, shouted vocals, and a sharp sense of humor that helped set the band apart from their more serious contemporaries. I sort of disregarded these fellas back in the day due to the goofy looking album covers and all, but glad to have come around, even if decades later as it’s good shit.
2019 UK reissue from Back On Black. I recently stumbled across this copy brand new for $11 and couldn’t pass it up. sounds great.
