This is a limited picture disc split release by Agalloch’s and Finnish folk/metal band Nest. Each band contributed just one unique track and it’s a nice little set of tunes. Agalloch’s “The Wolves Of The Timberline” is very much online with what the band were up to at the time. The best track “Vestige Of Okd Joy” is similar, but also has more of a Dead Can Dance vibe. Admittedly, I am less familiar with Nest, but I like this track quite a lot. Bought this on a whim ages ago and did not expect it to become as hard to find nowadays as it seems to be.
