12 Hits From Hell was meant to be a lost treasure from the Misfits vault—a full 1980 session featuring the short-lived lineup of Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle, and drummer Arthur Googy. Intended for release in 2001, the album was pulled at the last minute due to disagreements between Danzig and Only over the mix and presentation, turning it into an underground curiosity, While most initial promo copies were destroyed, some got out there and were unofficially repressed as high quality bootlegs, which is what this is. Fantastic shit.
2017 European unofficial reissue that’s basically an exact replica of this cancelled release on Caroline Records. It looks, feels, and sounds incredible. Found this in Spain a few years back.
