Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon (1983)

Bark At The Moon marked Ozzy’s return to form after the tragic death of Randy Rhoads, and now with Jake E. Lee taking the reins in the guitarist spot. The album leans into a more polished and synth-laced ‘80s metal sound while still delivering sharp riffs and Ozzy’s unmistakable howl. While I dig that most folks hail Randy Rhoads as unmatched in Ozzy’s band, for me, Jake E. Lee wrote the tracks I like best and his playing is right in the sweet spot for me! Dude is waaay underrated! This is likely my favorite album of Ozzy’s entire solo career.

1983 OG US pressing on CBS Records and it sounds insanely good.
