Revelations Of The Insane is, as can be assessed, a collection of demos and rarities recorded between 1980-1994. These tracks were previously released in 2011 as a two part compilation series by High Roller Records, and while those were amazing they’ve been pretty hard to secure for some time. Thankfully this comprehensive 2xLP reissue collects all of those recordings into a single package, making this an irresistible album, all the way. Fucking love these early demos and it’s fascinating to track the band’s evolution in a more visceral way than proper album releases. Maybe optional for some, but for me, this set is crucial listening material.
2025 Netherlands reissue on Hammerheart Records and it dominates. Literally just arrive in the mail today, so completely stoked about what my ears and brain are experiencing right now.
