Oblivion Clock is compiled from various sessions that didn’t fit into Virus’ mainline albums. While less cohesive than The Agent That Shapes The Desert, it still oozes that off-kilter tension the band thrives on— warped, seasick guitar lines and Czral’s unmistakable vocal drone. There’s a looser, even jammier quality here, as if they’re teasing the boundaries of their sound without committing to any one direction but it delivers.
2015 Norwegian reissue (first vinyl release) from Duplicate Records/Virulent Music and it smokes.
