Death Angel - Frolic Through The Park (1988)

Frolic Through The Park is Death Angel’s sophomore album and finds the band hinting at different, less traditional thrash metal directions than their blistering debut. While still very much a metal album, the band is incorporating elements of funk, humor, and even some shades of progressive metal as they test their own boundaries. While not as serious or brutal as their debut, the album shows that the band is not looking to rest within any single genre. A little inconsistent, but overall a great effort!

1988 US pressing on Enigma that I found at a record show 30 years ago (or more).
