The Edge Of Eternity seems to be the most technical thrash album of the band’s discography and it’s also my favorite. Replacing the entire lineup from the first album except himself, guitarist Mike Wead seems keen on finding a signature path for the band to stand out. For me, they seem to have generated the most (creative) success with this album. Complex compositions, solid playing, and a bit of weight bring this album home for me. Solid.
