A Tribute To Insanity is the debut album of Swedish thrashers Hexenhaus. While the band would eventually refine their sound to a more technical thrash approach with doom elements, this one is largely straight up Teutonic thrash. The band are named after a 17th century German prison where hundreds of suspected witches were allegedly tortured and killed… without digging into how much that story is based in fact, it does make for a cool thrash band name. Produced by Leif Edling, no less! Great album!
