This is Obliveon’s first demo from way back in March of 1987 when they were initially known under the traditional spelling of Oblivion vs. the band’s longtime moniker of Obliveon. The unexpected collection includes the complete first demo on side A and an early 1987 live soundboard recording that somehow sounds insanely good. I love this band, so completely stoked to be giving these old recordings a spin right now. Sound is fantastic for what it is.
2025 Italian pressing on F.O.A.D. Records and it far exceeds my expectations for such an obscure archival release, but this is where it’s at! Link will get you a rip of the original cassette demo without the live cuts.
