Wunderbar by Wolfgang Reichmann is a brief, minimal synth gem from 1978 that captures a peculiar intersection of detachment and charm. I’ve always considered this album somewhere between Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream from the same period but it has its own cool thing going on. Definitely worth checking out if you have even a casual interest in the 1970s krautrock evolution.
2009 German reissue on Bureau B and it sounds great.
