Lucifer Rising is basically a three song EP combined with a full length live album of the band in Athens circa 2007 taking up three of the four album side with this release. Honestly, it’s a pretty cool little release. The new studio cuts, including a re-recorded version of “Demon’s Gate” with Robert Lowe on vocals is good shit. Despite it’s muddy production quality, the live material is a decent document of the band in the early Lowe era too.
2019 UK reissue from Back On Black. The release itself is good, but fuck all if this wasn’t a nightmare buying experience from stupid Amazon. Was listed at like $15, so duh, I bought it but they kept sending me the same wrong album over and over and by the third attempt I even received a copy of Candlemass’ Ashes To Ashes (which I kept), and finally, on the fourth attempt, I received Lucifer Rising, haha. What a fucking hassle!
