Psalms For The Dead is the final album that Candlemass did with Robert Lowe before they parted ways just prior to this albums release and it was largely around Lowe’s performance in the live performance/stage energy department, not so much his studio work, which has been consistently phenomenal. Regardless, this album is quite amazing and a little sad that it’s the final chapter in the Robert Lowe-Candlemass era. Solid albums during this time! Make no mistake!
