After touring the AVD album cycle a bit with Jimmy. Bower on drums (I saw them in 2000 with Bower) the band went a bit quiet for a spell, eventually resurfacing with news of a new album and New Orleans jazz drummer Stanton Moore filling in on drums for the upcoming release. Sounded cool and honestly, this album is pretty solid, even though I’m convinced Reed Mullen could have made it better… but that wasn’t what happened. Really good record though.
2018 UK reissue from Back On Black and it’s another solid pressing.
