Cruel Force apparently split up in 2012 and ultimately reformed in 2022. Dawn Of The Axe is their first album since their reformation and it fucking slays Not only did they pick up right where they left off, they’ve upgraded the focus of their attack and hot damn this band is smoking. If you’re into old thrash on the noisier end of the spectrum, Dawn Of The Axe is what you need. An absolute crusher. Ground breaking? Not so much. Crushing? Yes.
2023 US pressing on Shadow Kingdom Records and it’s a gem.
