Cruel Force are a German thrash metal band that incorporate elements of black metal and speed metal into their sound. They have a somewhat 80s sound, but aren’t really all that derivative as there was much to explore from those days that wasn’t. I wouldn’t call them technical… more thrash in the way that bands like Venom or Celtic Frost were thrash… ripping, but noisy too. Good shit. Love the raw production.
2023 US reissue on Shadow Kingdom Records and it’s a fantastic release.
