Oh hell yes! Holocaust’s debut full length album is towering monument of essential NWOBHM. Not too serious, lyrically, this album is about rockin’ and murdering for the most part. The riffs are epic and the tunes are heavy, very metal, yet sort of easy going. Original Holocaust vocalist Gary Lettice has a voice very similar to James Hetfield in early demo days Metallica and I sort of love it. Fucking awesome album.
2025 UK/EU pressing on Reissued Sounds/Cherry Red. The LP sounds fantastic, but the cover is a bit flimsy and did not fare too good in shipping… mostly due to Amazon not bothering to properly pack it… when will I learn? Worth picking up if you come across it.
