It took me a little long to warm up to Beat for some reason. While Discipline hit me pretty quick, Beat and Three Of A Perfect Pair sounded too clean and 80s to me at first? Whatever hang ups I had in my had back then have long since disappeared and I find this one to be super engaging… and still a little fresh since I didn’t initially play the shit out of it in high school like I did with Discipline. Beautiful music.
1982 US pressing on EG/Warner Bros. Records that I’ve had forever. Landed this used somewhere and I managed to have good luck with these 80s KC releases. The cover is a little worn, but the LP itself sounds like absolutely incredible. Sound wise; this is an outstanding press.
