Slick Leg is Mastodon’s first non-demo release circa 2001 and it’s a very brief three track 7-inch picture disc, as seen here. The songs are blistering and raw, but the band already has their early sound dialed in. These tracks can be found on 2006 Call Of The Mastodon collection and that’s worth picking up for this and the full Remission EP alone. Good tunes.

This is the 2003 US repress (2nd pressing) from Reptilian Records. I think I mailordered this from the label’s website back when that was a dodgy thing in the early 2000s, haha. It’s awesome.
