This set of tunes was initially released under the title of “6 Songs” and as a 7-inch in 1986. In 1991, it was released again as “8 Songs” as you see here and then in 2003, it was released on CD as “26 Songs” which I also have, haha. I suppose this is unique as a transitional version of this album and honestly, it’s fucking awesome. Early Melvins excellence and I have vivid memories of hearing this and their demos stuff at friend’s houses and parties back in ‘86. Melvins were a big part of my musical development and still a personal fav.
1991 US reissue/version on a label called C/Z Records. Seems to be worth a few bucks nowadays, which would have surprised me back in 1991 when I was waffling and (thankfully) decided to buy it brand new for like $7, hah. 26 Songs at the link because too much Melvins is never enough.
