Peter Gabriel’s debut solo album is a lovely and fascinating piece of work. Gabriel demonstrates that he’s not fucking around and is full-on embracing the disruptive changes in rock music in the late 1970s without sacrificing his own artistic principles for a microsecond. A little tough to describe this LP, but it’s a fucking gem. One of my top five album covers of all time.
