Boston thrashers Wargasm delivered an ultra-pummeling serving of violence and heaviness with their debut album. Absolutely footed in thrash metal, it has a deep heavy groove going on at a time when that wasn’t even a thing. Great fucking album.
1988 US pressing on Profile Records/Rock Hotel Records. Sounds insanely good. Landed this at A-1 Records in NYC and I will never not frequent that place for killer pickups so long as they stay open.
