Come An’ Get It is a solid album, but also probably one of the more overlooked albums of Whitesnake’s early period. I have to note here… bassist Neil Murray does not get nearly enough credit for his balls fucking tight bass playing! This guy is on the pocket all the time and his ability to hold that shit down while also running around the fretboard a bit is kind of nuts. Dude deserves way more credit than he receives. Overall, this album smokes.
1981 US pressing on Mirage/Atlantic and it’s a solid player.
