Friends Of Hell takes what Witchfinder General were kicking up with Death Penalty and takes the heat up a notch. A bit more cohesive and focused, but no less ripping. Guitarist Phil Cope is absolutely a serious student of Iommi’s playing. The way the leads breaks kick in is soooo Tony Iommi and I sort of love Cope’s take on it. Excellent album.
