Broken Glass was a short lived group led by Stan Webb in the wake of Chicken Shack’s slow dissolution. This band is still steeped in blues rock, but feels a bit more easy going than the harder edged sound Chicken Shack had been working at towards the end. And hey, it’s a real nice little album loaded with top notch players as accomplished as Webb himself. Produced by Tony Ashton, this is the only record the band ever made. Certainly worth a listen if you like good tunes.
