So, bassist/vocalist Schmier left Destruction sometime in 1989 and the band replaced him with vocalist André Grieder for this album, with Mike and Harry filling in on bass for the studio sessions. Probably the only excellent Destruction album without Schmier in the mix and is a solid thrash fest. The band will face a rapid decline in the 1990s but will recover for a time when Schmier returns in 1999. Awesome band, but they’ve had some serious low points.
2017 German reissue on High Roller Records and I shouldn’t even have to say it at this point, but it’s excellent.
