Karl Sanders is the primary driving force behind extreme death metal act Nile and as anyone knows, he also has a massive obsession with ancient Egyptian culture, music, and spirituality (which is what Nile is also about). This is his first solo album focusing with these interests exclusively, and while I’m not too sure how the rest of the world takes to this album, when I’m in the mood, I dig it.
2022 European reissue on Napalm Records and I cannot deny, it sounds amazing.
