The Word As Power marks a subtle shift in focus for Lustmord mastermind Brian Williams as he incorporates female vocals and gentle melodies into the void of darkness. The album is beautiful and one of the more delicate Lustmord releases to date. Absolutely excellent.
Original 2013 UK pressing on the label Blackest Ever Black and I found this very nice copy at Heaven Street Records (now Material World) in Brooklyn, NY in 2014. It was like $12. Sometimes I get lucky.
